New online IM training offered for beginners

I have just recently been told of a brand new online training resource available to all but mainly geared up for the beginner or those new to Internet Marketing. It is called Online Success For Beginners

This was mostly done through the Jeremiah2911 group as many orphaned members joined through lack of support from their mentors. Are you staying focused?

One problem I seem to have is staying focused. I mean I am sooo trying to get things done but as a new member to the Internet\Information Marketing (IM) fraternity I am coming across one system after the other and they all look so good.

I have to revert back to the words I remember reading in the  Supreme Affiliate Marketing Wizard – “If I could give only one piece of advice to a beggining affiliate marketer, it would be this: stop the cash bleeding“. Now I beleive these words or advice are applicable to more than just the begginer affiliate marketer, I belieev they are pertinent to anybody that is starting out in just about any industry wether it’s online or offline, wether it’s marketing or labouring

Russel Brunson also said it on his Micro-Continuity training course in that he gets a little mad when he sees somebody who has bought his system\product go out and buy another system\product without complete the first one. Don’t get me wrong and I’m sure I speak for quite a few people when I say this but as much as people like making money out of you impulse buying half the reason for developing these products is to help you make money out of the systems rather than make you broke from buying them.

If you stop yourself before you spend impulsively, take a deep breath, write down what you want to buy, where it is available from, how much it costs and any other details, bookmark it if it’s an internet page, and walk away for a second. Go and have a cigarette if you smoke, a beer down the local pub if you drink or even take the dog for a walk. Then come back and do some research. If it’s a shop based product have a look online, if it’s an online product look for other sources or alternative products. Find reviews written by other people that have bought the same product. Look what other products the same people have bought. Reseacrh the products itself, wether it’s a book (physical or electronic), a DVD (film, audio or training course), a piece of software, clothes, food, just about anything that you would consider an impulse buy or something that you’ve been lead to buy.

Now with as much information at your fingertips as you can gather you can safely say that you know what and why you’re buying what you are ask yourself one more question, how will this impact the other things I have bought to do similar or the same thing. What I’m getting at here is if you are looking to start a new venture\system\project and you went and bought something to help you in accomplishing your goals and during the research that you’re doing after the fact you find something else relating to your current task at hand, will you be distracted from the previous thing by the new thing?

Let’s put it into context of books. I have never started a book and at any stage during reading that book, put it down and start another book. It wouldn’t make sense. What I have done is start the book, make notes of things I like in the book, references\products, but kept on reading until the end. Then with my notes I’ll go and research the other things I found in the first book. This now allows the information that I found to settle down and I can enjoy the rest of the book and action anything later.

I receive many email from many of the top Internet Marketers and I see a lot of offers come into my inbox. There are CDS, e-books and coaching sessions galore but I have to stay focused on the task at hand. As I am writing this the task at hand is developing my very fist product that I hope to be able to share with others that are in the same or similar situation as myself with regards to IM so please keep your eyes open.

In closing I’d like to say just one thing, find something that you’d like to do, research it, find out who is the best person to follow\get advice from and buy one product and stick with it until you have it working. By working I mean generating a stable income which has been tried and tested and tweak to the point that you won’t have to do too much to it whilst you look into your next venture\system\project.

Things are a changing

I have decided to change the way I’m doing things and am going to be more focused in my approach to Internet marketing.

The first thing I’ve changed is my way of thinking, I’m going to move from Internet marketing and focus on Information marketing. This is nothing new to the whole marketing community but it’s a revelation for me and is helping me focus.

The other thing I’m going to change is from being disparate and focus on one single system until I’ve got it down pat. Anybody starting out should try and do the same as it’s all too easy to loose focus when you’re trying to juggle too many systems at the same time.

In my choosen system of focus I’m also developing a new product and I will make you all aware of this as soon as I can.
